Valentine's Stripes

I have decided I do not like Poshe Top Coat. It will do in a pinch, but I am sticking to SV. I have gotten used to the slight shrinking and just work around it. I find that Poshe has a consistancy that I just can not work with. If I put it on thick like I do with SV, my mani ends up, like, running to one side of my nail unless I hold my hand completely level. And, what is the point of using a fast dry top coat if you can't move or bump your hand? If I try to put it on thinner, it pulls my mani like you will see in these pics. A perfectly good mani with nice, clean stripes completely ruined by top coat. Grrr.

Polishes I used:
OPI Feelin' Hot Hot Hot
OPI Ali's Big Break

    1. Thanks! Seche Vite works really well for me, but with how everyone complains about it, I thought I could find something better out there. Not so much. lol.

  2. It's so pretty! I hate when top coats are a pain! I usually use SV, but lately have been using Poshe since it's 3-Free (for my pregnancy). SV is the best though!

    1. I've heard lots of people use Cult Nails Wicked Fast, but I haven't tried it yet. SV is the best :)

  3. I still use SV but I use Cult Nails Wicked Fast too!! I think I need them both - some polishes shrink worse (like Jellies) so I will use Wicked Fast with them, and I also think Wicked Fast is a bit thinner so if I'm doing a multi-layer mani (like, with lots of taping) and I need it to dry fast with out the end mani being SO thick, I use wicked fast. Definitely try it! Also one to try is Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat - that one is pretty good too, but not as good as SV and WF I don't think.

    1. Cute mani by the way. :) I did something similar to this last year for Valentine's day but it was pink on the bottom with Red Shatter on the top!

    2. Thanks for the info!! Poshe and I definitely don't get along, but the only other top coat that I use is SV. I will have to keep experimenting. :)
