I just got my different social media outlets updated, and here are a few new ways to follow:

Christmas Lights Nail Art

Let's get one thing straight here...I don't have a creative bone in my body. lol. When I am thinking of nail art, my brain goes something like this, "Hmmm...Christmas lights.........Uhhhhh...." So, that is why I love blogs and Pinterest to give me inspiration when I do get an idea, but don't know how to execute it.

Anyways, I saw this post on Just Another Polish Addiction and thought that it was a super cute mani and something that I could actually do myself. I decided to go with more sparkly colors because I wanted it to look like the lights were twinkling. I realized I don't have too many colored glitters in my stash...That will have to be changed!

I really liked how this turned out. The only thing I would have changed is the purple polish, but oddly enough I couldn't find anything purple and glittery. The end result was pretty much exactly what I was going for. I wish more of the sparkle would show up in the pics, but that always happens.

Colors used: OPI Your Royal Shine-ness, Etude House BL019, Essie Leading Lady, China Glaze Flying Dragon, China Glaze Running In Circles, and LA Colors Black striping polish.

OPI Your Royal Shine-Ness

Today I have for you OPI's Your Royal Shine-Ness.  This is a silver/pewter sparkling foil. It is made up of silver and gold micro glitters and reaches opaqueness within two coats. There is definitely a lot of sparkle and a lot of shine going on here. Take a look.

I love this polish. It was one of the first OPI's that I bought when I started getting into this addicting hobby. :)  Tomorrow I will be showing you some Christmas nail art that I did over it.

Polish addict problems

Sigh. This is one of the reasons I am on a no-buy til after the holidays. This is my 'overflow' basket that sits on top of my Helmer. As you can see, it needs an overflow itself. My Helmer is completely full to the brim. I have Helmer money set aside for once Christmas is over. I don't know why I just don't buy it now...I just feel guilty spending money on myself this time of year.

Anyways....Can't wait to share stash pics once I get the new drawers and get everything re-organized!

Don't mind the old as dirt picture sitting in front of the basket. lol. Its a very sentimental picture I keep there, and just turned over for the pictures. I don't know why I didn't move it.

She also sent a Hello Kitty candy charm bracelet, some Essence lip gloss that smells amazing, and a cute Hello Kitty nail file.

From Xana: Maybelline (no name?), China Glaze Lush & Luxe, China Glaze Flying Dragon, H & M Purple Glitter, Gina Tricot Beauty Puff Powder, H & M Fantasy Ocean, Flormor 410, Model's Own Purple Imperial, and an H & M eyeshadow palette.

Leading Lady and Butler Please are so gorgeous in person. They are definitely on my list of things to swatch ASAP! And can I just say...FLOAM!! I have been wanting this polish for ages. This was one of my first and #1 lemmings of all time. I want to carry it with me at all times, yet lock it up for safe keeping!

I love all my packages and new additions so much! These girls have done a great job picking out polishes for me and it's fun to get ones from all over the world that I couldn't normally get.

Nail Mail!

I am a part of a nail polish birthday group on FB, and these are a few of the packages I have gotten so far.  My birthday is in June, but that month was taken and they needed people to fill the empty months. lol.

From Desiree: Bettina Flip Flops, Berry Merry, Be Jolly, Sparkles, and Sinful Colors Dazzle.

From Hailee: Essie Mini Real Simple, China Glaze Glistening Snow, Essie Case Study, Barielle Falling Star, Essie Very Structured, China Glaze Angel Wings, Essie Mini Very Cranberry, and Lilacquer Fhloston Paradise.

From Tamera: Klean Kolors Neon Yellow, Barielle Decadence, Sally Hansen Snappy Sorbet, Klean Kolors Beach Ble. She also sent me some really cute extras...a cheetah print hair clip, Hello Kitty stickers and Lego's, erasers, zebra kleenex, and some maple syrup since she's from Canada!

I loved all my gifts so much. I was kinda skeptical going into doing a birthday group, but it has turned out to be so much fun! I have loved shopping for the other girls and seeing what they picked out for me. I just got four more amazing packages, so I will be posting pics of that in the next few days! :)

Dots Mani

I love, love, love how this mani ended up. This post at Tuxarina was my inspiration, and then I changed the colors around to support my Cleveland Browns :) I honestly didn't think I was going to be posting this, so I didn't take nice bottle pics and pics in a light box. Just quickly snapped this at work today.

This look was super easy to create with a dotting tool. The design and colors together reminded me of 70's retro furniture or wallpaper for some reason.

The polishes I used were:
