China Glaze Kalahari Kiss

I did not mean to pick this color. What I wanted to wear was China Glaze Desert Sun, the gorgeous butterscotch shade that came out in the On Safari collection. Not paying attention, I picked this up, put it on and was like, "Oh, wait, this isn't it." lol. But, being the loyal blogger that I am, I will post anyways. :)

This is a khaki yellow tan color. On me, it pulls to kind of a dirty yellow, as you can see in the pics. I'm not sure weather or not I really like this color. It will be a good base as nail art, but I cant' imagine wearing it on it's own.

China Glaze Sweet Hook

If you are looking for a perfect pastel purple creme without any grey or too much white, then China Glaze Sweet Hook is exactly what you want! This was part of the spring Electropop collection of 2012.

For a pastel, this applied gorgeously. Two coats plus SV:

I am definitely over all this cold weather, so maybe wearing spring time colors will help the warmer weather come quicker! :)

China Glaze Shower Together

Shower Together is a dark, yet bright, blue leaning teal. I love shades like this...dark, but still colorful. I don't like colors that are so dark that by the third coat, they look almost black. With that said, this did take three coats. The first two were streaky, but the third finally evened things out. Also, watch out for pulling with this polish. You can see a couple bald spots towards my cuticle on the ring and pinky finger.

I also just want to say that this polish was a complete bitch to photograph. Everything was turning out way darker that it looked in real life, and in the pics it was looking almost grey. I don't even want to talk about how many pics I had to take, then check on the computer before I finally got a couple that were accurate. Ugh.

China Glaze Winter Holly

For Christmas, I painted my nails with China Glaze Winter Holly. These pics are seriously forcing me to figure out a better lighting set up. I had a perfect one for the summertime when I had good, or at least half decent, sunlight all day long. Never had an issue with capturing a polish. Now that the days are shorter and sunny days are few and far between, looks like a light box in a necessity. I actually have one, but for some reason, my pics in it are still coming out yellow toned, so I am trying to make the necessary tweaks to get the pics to come out right.

I'm sure by now you have seen many gorgeous swatches of this polish and know that it is a dark forest green micro glitter polish with lots of holo glitter scrattered throughout. Holo really has been the hit of the season, hasn't it?

I had absolutely no issues with the application of this polish and it was completely opaque in three coats.

I wish I could have captured the true beauty of this polish. Every little morsel glitters. If a glittering Christmas tree could be made into a polish, Winter Holly would be it. I definitely have nothing like this in my stash, and if you didn't pick this up, you may want to re-think that decision!

China Glaze Running in Circles

I've been dying to wear China Glaze Running in Circles since I bought it a couple weeks ago. It's a gorgeous emerald green base with darker green glitter/shimmer. I like that it looks holiday-ish, but it also bright enough to be a spring polish, as well.

The first coat had minimal bald spots and was fully opaque in two coats. Here is two coats of polish and one coat Seche Vite.
