Essie Bikini So Teeny

Essie Bikini So Teeny is a bright, yet pastel blue with the most subtle silver shimmer. The shimmer itself does not translate onto the nail, just like most Essie polishes.

I love shades like this! And Essie does them so well. Light enough that they are flattering, yet bright enough to make a slight statement. This blue is just perfect.

Two coats, with very easy application:

As you can see, the color varies SLIGHTLY in the bottom two pics. I have been messing with camera setting trying to get the most color accurate photos. The main place you can tell the difference is in my skin tone. Yikes! lol.

OPI Ski Teal We Drop + Zoya Frida

I was going to split this into two posts, but it seemed kinda pointless considering Frida didn't make Ski Teal We Drop look too much different.

Here is OPI Ski Teal We Drop on it's own. It's a darkened blue leaning teal shade. This is not one of those shades that look black in low lighting. It is so rich and keeps it's color nicely no matter what the lighting.

Two coats, no top coat:

Then, since Zoya Frida is a teal jelly, I wanted to add it over Ski Teal We Drop for some added shine, and it did not disappoint! The base color did not change at all, but Frida added an insane amount of glossiness to the manicure.

2 coats Ski Teal We Drop, 1 coat Zoya Frida, no top coat.

Do you like layering similar colors of polish or layering polishes that are different to see what the outcome is?

China Glaze Shower Together

Shower Together is a dark, yet bright, blue leaning teal. I love shades like this...dark, but still colorful. I don't like colors that are so dark that by the third coat, they look almost black. With that said, this did take three coats. The first two were streaky, but the third finally evened things out. Also, watch out for pulling with this polish. You can see a couple bald spots towards my cuticle on the ring and pinky finger.

I also just want to say that this polish was a complete bitch to photograph. Everything was turning out way darker that it looked in real life, and in the pics it was looking almost grey. I don't even want to talk about how many pics I had to take, then check on the computer before I finally got a couple that were accurate. Ugh.

This is three coats, plus SV:

Milani Cyberspace

I don't know weather to classify Cyberspace as a scattered or linear holo. Definitely a scattered in the bottle, but once on the nail it takes on a linear look. Honestly, I'm not going to think too much about it because it beautiful either way. Cyberspace is the blue in Milani's 3D Holographic line. I believe that out of the entire line this shade has one of the strongest holographic qualities to it.

Application was fine. It went on a bit thin, but was completely opaque after three easy coats. I had no issues with cuticle pooling at all.  Three coats, plus SV:

Like always, I wish my camera would pick up sparkle better because this polish is so gorgeous, especially from a drugstore brand. You can see the linear-ness best in the last shot.

So, what would you say? Scattered or linear??
