Winnings & Small Haul

I got a couple giveaway wins this week and snagged an amazing deal from Sally's yesterday.

Lawless Lacquer  held a Zoya giveaway sponsored by Verve Salon in Pittsburgh, and I won Natty and Toni. Natty has been on my wishlist, and Toni is a gorgeous shade! The only reason I hadn't added it on my wishlist is because I have lots of vampy reds/purples and don't wear them very often.

Then, from Mandy's Polish, I won prize #1 of her Birthday Giveaway. The prize included a set of four pots of glitter, OPI Spiderman mini's, Nabi Magnetic Polish Lilac (my first magnetic polish!), Essie Shine of the Times, Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor, Wet n Wild Gray's Anatomy, and Color Club Worth The Risque. 

I stopped at Sally's to get some top coat and see if they had the new Bits N Pieces collection out yet (which they didn't), and I saw they had the Boho Chrome collection on clearance. I wasn't able to get this collection when they came out, and really wanted them, so I was sooo excited to see them marked down. They were only 2.69 each, plus I used my 15% off coupon! What a steal. The only one that was missing was the purple one, and from what I see, it wasn't really a duochrome anyways, just more like a metallic. I also got Posche Top Coat and I haven't ever used it before, so I am anticipating seeing how it matches up to Seche Vite.

Another bit of exciting news...I finally got a daylight light bulb! lol. I thought what I had was a daylight kind, but it wasn't. So, the quality of my pics will be good up a couple notches. I am just sad that I did some really pretty nail art for upcoming challenges over the weekend, so the pics are not very good. Oh well.

Anyways, I want to hear your thoughts on Seche Vite vs. Poshe? I have always been a faithful SV user, but I have heard lots of good things about Posche, too. I'm just wondering if it dries as fast and glossy as SV.  Let me know your thoughts or what you use as a top coat!

More nail mail

First, a small package from my friend Sharon in England. I had a couple Orly doubles, so she swapped me for a couple Nails Inc polishes. They are so pretty....The next on my list is Baker Street. I want that blue sooo bad!

Giveaway Winnings

Got a few more nail mail packages over the past few days.  I was lucky enough to win two giveaways the past week, plus I received one more of my birthday swap packages.

First, from Seriously Swatched I was supposed to only be winning the Seche Vite Collage Overlay, but she sent me some extras as well :)

She sent a nail polish remover pad, two self tanner towels, make up brush cleaner, Seche Vite Collage Overlay, and Sinful Colors Winterberry. I ALMOST bought the SV Overlay about a week before winning this! What are the odds?! I can't wait to put this over a bright, fun summer color. And oddly enough, Winterberry is one of the few Sinful Colors that I don't own! lol. I love the purple/grey colors, so this is right up my alley.

Then, from Oh Three Oh Four, I won the second prize of her holiday giveaway, which was a set of Pure Ice polishes.

 My friend Dee sent me these for the birthday swap. The CG were from my wishlist, so I am happy to have those. I am that much closer to finally finishing my Ink Collection. There are only 5 left for me to get now :)

Birthday Swap Package

Yesterday I received another package from my birthday group! This one was from Felicia...and here is what she sent.

Bodycology lotion, e.l.f. polishes: Red-y Or Not, Dazzle Diva, Chic Confetti, Misty Haze, Catrice Dirty Berry (a gorgeous holo), Sonia Kashuk nail polish in Lacquered Lilac, and lip gloss in Shrinking Violet, and a pack of Eos lip balms.

What is in the mini bottle, you ask? Oh, that's just....OPI BLACK SPOTTED!!!! O.M.G.! I wanted this so bad, but seriously figured it was one of those polishes I would never own. Since her package was late getting to me, she decanted some of her own bottle into a mini one so that I could have some. I swatched it on one nail and it's amazeballs! I can't wait to do a full mani with it!

From Xana: Maybelline (no name?), China Glaze Lush & Luxe, China Glaze Flying Dragon, H & M Purple Glitter, Gina Tricot Beauty Puff Powder, H & M Fantasy Ocean, Flormor 410, Model's Own Purple Imperial, and an H & M eyeshadow palette.

Leading Lady and Butler Please are so gorgeous in person. They are definitely on my list of things to swatch ASAP! And can I just say...FLOAM!! I have been wanting this polish for ages. This was one of my first and #1 lemmings of all time. I want to carry it with me at all times, yet lock it up for safe keeping!

I love all my packages and new additions so much! These girls have done a great job picking out polishes for me and it's fun to get ones from all over the world that I couldn't normally get.

Nail Mail!

I am a part of a nail polish birthday group on FB, and these are a few of the packages I have gotten so far.  My birthday is in June, but that month was taken and they needed people to fill the empty months. lol.

I loved all my gifts so much. I was kinda skeptical going into doing a birthday group, but it has turned out to be so much fun! I have loved shopping for the other girls and seeing what they picked out for me. I just got four more amazing packages, so I will be posting pics of that in the next few days! :)
